Barcelona have confirmed that Cristian Tello will leave the club for Real Betis for an initial fee of €4 million.
Barca and Betis have both confirmed the deal is done, with only a medical and formal signing of the contract left to complete before the 25-year-old is presented at his new club.
The Camp Nou club confirmed they have sold Tello for an initial fee of €4m, with a further €1m payable in add-ons, while they will financially benefit if the winger later moves on elsewhere.
The speedy winger, has impressed on loan for Serie A side Fiorentina.Having made 22 appearances for Fiorentina all season including 14 substitute appearances, Tello managed a decent turn-out of 4 goals and 4 assists in Serie A.
Cristian Tello came brought to Barca's La Masia academy -- although he spent two years away at Espanyol before retuning in 2010 -- and made his first team debut under Pep Guardiola in 2011.
Tello, who has become Betis' second summer signing after the arrival of Sergio Leon from Osasuna, scored 20 times in 86 appearances for Barcelona between 2011 and 2014 before joining Porto on loan three years ago.
Porto cut his two-year loan deal short after 18 months, though, allowing him to move to Italian side Fiorentina, where he has spent the last year-and-a-half.
The Catalan winger made his senior career debut in 2010 for Espanyol. He won his first La Liga title with Barcelona in 2012-13. He became a member of both the Spanish national team and the Catalonia national team in 2013.
